SEMH Learning Support Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic SEMH Teaching Assistant to work with children who display challenging behaviours at a school in Wakefield.
About the RoleThis role involves providing support and guidance to students with SEMH needs, helping them to succeed academically and personally.
- Support students with SEMH needs in their academic and personal development.
Salary: £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- Proven experience working with children who display challenging behaviours.
- Understanding and empathy towards the diverse backgrounds of our pupils.
- Transferable experience from roles such as support worker, care homes, young offenders, etc.
- A commitment to professional development and training.
