Join Our Kitchen Team as a Junior Sous Chef

We're on the hunt for a talented Junior Sous Chef to join our kitchen team at Lounge. As a key member of our team, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional food and service to our customers.

About the Role

We're looking for a motivated and experienced Junior Sous Chef who can support our Head Chef and Sous Chef in delivering high-quality dishes to our customers. You'll be responsible for preparing ingredients, cooking dishes to specification, and maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.

What We're Looking For

  • You're probably an existing Junior Sous Chef or an experienced Chef looking to take the next step in your career.
  • You'll ideally have experience of working with fresh ingredients and be able to demonstrate good chef/kitchen skills (food prep hot and cold, cleaning, knife skills, good hygiene practices).
  • Good communication skills and a team player.
  • Self-motivated to work at pace, with limited supervision.
  • Strong knowledge of best practice when it comes to all things Allergens, kitchen essentials, and Food Safety.
