Care Coordinator

We are seeking a compassionate and caring Activities and Wellbeing Coordinator to join our team at Westgate Healthcare.
The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying residents' activity needs and wishes, producing a varied programme based on these findings, and exploring the most appropriate methods and resources for meeting activity needs.
Key responsibilities include:
- Organising theme and fund-raising events as required, based on local holidays and traditions
- Supporting in the management of monthly activity budgets for entertainment, materials and outings
- Ensuring risk assessments have been carried out on all activities and outings
- Completing digital notes daily to record and support residents' activities
- Taking photos of residents and creating engaging content for social media
About You
We are looking for someone with a caring nature, a positive attitude, and the ability to work in a team. Previous experience in a similar position in a care home is desirable but not essential.
The ideal candidate will have an understanding of Health and Safety, emotional, social, physical, psychological and intellectual needs of vulnerable people, and the ability to engage others in recreational activities.
