Job Overview

New Copford Place is a purpose-built residential care home in Essex, offering a warm and welcoming environment for our residents. As a Care Assistant for Elderly Evening Shifts, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents.

About the Position

This is a part-time position working 24 hours per week on evening shifts. You must hold either The Care Certificate or a minimum of Level 2 NVQ in Health and Social Care to be considered for this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Delivering high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Establishing meaningful relationships with our residents through active listening and empathy.
  • Assisting with daily living tasks, including personal care and meal preparation.
  • Maintaining accurate records of resident care and progress.
Requirements

To excel in this role, you will need to demonstrate a genuine passion for care, empathy, respect, self-motivation, flexibility, and a willingness to go above and beyond to enable our residents to live fulfilling lives. A minimum of 3 months' experience in a care home environment is required.
