Job Title: Care Companion

We are seeking a kind-hearted and empathetic individual to join our team as a Care Companion at New Copford Place, a purpose-built residential care home in Essex.

This rewarding role involves providing personal care, companionship, and support to our residents, who may be experiencing loneliness or isolation. You will be responsible for building strong relationships with our residents and creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care and companionship to residents
  • Build strong relationships with residents and their families
  • Create a warm and welcoming atmosphere in the care home
  • Support residents with daily living tasks, such as bathing and dressing
  • Maintain accurate care records
Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must hold either The Care Certificate or a minimum of Level 2 NVQ in Health and Social Care. You should have at least 3 months' experience working in a care home environment and possess excellent communication skills.

Salary: £26,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience
