**Job Overview:**

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Healthcare Assistant to join our team at New Copford Place, a purpose-built residential care home in the heart of Essex. As a key member of staff, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents.

**About the Role:**

As a Healthcare Assistant, your primary responsibility will be to provide personalized care and assistance to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met. This may include:

  • Assisting with personal care activities such as bathing, dressing, and toileting
  • Providing companionship and engaging residents in activities that promote mental stimulation and social interaction
  • Preparing meals and snacks, maintaining a clean and safe environment
  • Supporting residents with mobility issues and assisting with daily living tasks
  • Maintaining accurate records of resident care and collaborating with the care team to ensure seamless delivery of services

**Requirements:**

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • A genuine passion for care and commitment to delivering high-quality services
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, families, and colleagues
  • A minimum of 3 months experience working in a care home environment or a related field
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team, with flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances
