We are seeking a highly skilled Complex Injury Claims Specialist to join our team at Keoghs. As a leading Personal Injury law firm, we specialize in complex, high-value claims and are dedicated to providing exceptional legal service to our clients.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work with our Complex Injury teams, who are at the forefront of defending complex and catastrophic injury claims. You will be responsible for handling your own case load of large loss RTA claims, with a focus on forensic analysis, critical thinking, and technical advice.
Key Responsibilities- Forensic analysis of quantum evidence, preparing chronologies, and identifying anomalies
- Using your knowledge of complex injury symptomology to identify relevant issues within medical records
- Critical analysis of sources of liability evidence and identifying gaps
- Drafting concise technical advice on claim handling, including reserves, indemnity, liability, quantum, and causation issues
- Liaising with parties involved in claims, including insured, insurer, witnesses, and instructing counsel
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Qualified solicitor, CILEX, or proven relevant legal experience
- Experience of handling cases up to £100K in your own name
- Experience of indemnity and RTA liability, complex medical issues, and causation
- Experience working in a similar role assisting on large loss and/or catastrophic injury claims
