About the Role

The Senior QA Manager (Nights) will lead the night-shift QA team, ensuring quality standards, driving continuous improvement, and maintaining compliance in a high-care, high-risk environment. This position is ideal for a QA professional with experience in large-scale food production, particularly in high-care, high-risk environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the night-shift QA team, overseeing one QA Manager and multiple QA team members.
  • Ensure adherence to retailer codes, BRC standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain audit readiness and address any compliance gaps promptly.
  • Work closely with the Site Technical Manager, operations, and other departments to ensure consistent quality standards.
  • Manage end-to-end quality processes and implement corrective actions.
  • Champion quality improvement projects to enhance efficiency and performance.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years' relevant industry experience (e.g., Quality Manager, Senior QA Manager).
  • Experience in large-scale operations, ideally in poultry, ready meals, or raw meat production.
  • Knowledge of high-care, high-risk environments.
  • University degree in a relevant field.
  • Enthusiastic, energetic, and a quick learner.

Estimated Salary Range

£40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
