Job Title: Quality Technician

Location: Kennametal

About the Role:
Kennametal is seeking a skilled Quality Technician to join our team. This role is essential for ensuring the highest quality standards in our manufacturing processes, working with cutting-edge technology and contributing to the success of our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret and understand Technical Engineering Drawings to assess product quality.
  • Utilize measuring equipment such as Vernier calipers, Micrometers, Shadow Graphs, and other precision instruments.
  • Complete and maintain inspection records and customer-specific documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Input data into our Quality system and effectively use Excel, MS Word, and PowerPoint for reporting and analysis.
  • Ensure internal and external communication on quality standards, working closely with cross-functional teams to uphold company quality policies.
  • Be prepared to receive training in our lab for ceramic powder and solids analysis, enhancing your technical capabilities and expertise.

What We're Looking For:

  • A technical background in engineering or a related field.
  • Strong communication skills to work effectively with team members and clients.
  • Computer literacy, especially with email and the ability to input data into our quality systems.
  • A keen eye for detail and the ability to read and interpret technical documents with precision.
