Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Funeral Service Support Specialist in Eastbourne. As a valued member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting funeral directors and assisting with funeral provision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive vehicles and attend funerals with dignity and respect
  • Remove the deceased from their place of death to our premises
  • Maintain accurate records and check the mortuary register regularly
  • Clean and prepare coffins for presentation in the Chapel of Rest
  • Prepare graves and plots for ashes interments
  • Ensure the premises remain clean and tidy at all times
Requirements
  • A valid driving license is essential
  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential
  • A smart appearance and ability to work well in a small team
