Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Aviation Risk Management Lead to join our team at ZipRecruiter. The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience within a similar role (ideally within Aerospace or Defence) and will be responsible for leading safety management activities and providing advice on Product Safety matters to project teams.

About the Role

The Aviation Risk Management Lead will be responsible for:

  • Leading and guiding on safety management activities
  • Working closely with the Head of Airworthiness and Safety to upkeep and monitor the safety management systems
  • Representing the safety department at both customer reviews and internal design meetings
  • Overseeing all safety documentation, including review and approvals
  • Supporting the Head of Airworthiness & Safety with the development and implementation of in-house training company-wide
  • Managing and leading proactive safety reporting
Requirements

To be considered, the Aviation Risk Management Lead will have experience with ARP 4754 and ARP 4761 guidelines for safety standards, safety engineering in design, and working with cross-functional teams. They will also have specific aviation safety standards knowledge, including Def Stan 00-056 and Mil Std 882, as well as regulatory compliance and managing programmes in line with regulatory responsibilities.

What We Offer
