Job Title: Technical Support Operator, Lead

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Operator, Lead to join our team at Vestas. As a Technical Support Operator, Lead, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our customers and internal teams, troubleshooting complex technical issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to customers and internal teams via phone, email, and remote access
  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues related to wind turbines and other equipment
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and improve processes
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and guides for customers and internal teams
  • Participate in customer meetings and provide technical support as needed
  • Evaluate technical customer questions and reports, and provide answers and present technical matters at customer meetings
  • Creating, updating, and maintaining guides (VGAs) for Service Technician

Requirements:

  • Electrical or mechanical education combined with experience from the wind industry
  • Full authorization on the Vestas V Turbine (preferred)
  • Engineering background would be beneficial
  • Experience in the field in troubleshooting or other technical experience with the different Vestas turbines
  • Advanced PC skills - SAP, Microsoft office suite
  • Good knowledge of WTG control systems
  • Good communication skills in English, both oral and in writing
