Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to lead our Dangerous Goods transport framework, ensuring compliance with Statutory requirements at our Capenhurst location.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead as the primary Dangerous Goods Safety Advisor for Enrichment Operations, Site Services, Engineering Services, and Chemical Process Operations, advising on regulatory aspects of radioactive materials and dangerous goods transports.
  • Manage updates of Company procedures and transport compliance matrices to ensure processes align with national and international regulations.
  • Collaborate with transport companies and other URENCO sites, coordinating equipment use and agreements for safe transportation.
  • Serve as the principal contact for Export and Import Licensing and Customs matters with relevant authorities.
  • Evaluate and authorize documentation for national and international radioactive materials and dangerous goods transports, ensuring customer requirements and legislation are met.
  • Provide daily supervision and guidance to the Site Services transport team, promoting accurate and timely transport activities and awareness training for involved personnel.
