The salary for this role is up to £51,375 per annum.

  • Provide professional leadership and support to colleagues and other professionals in complex situations.
  • Apply extensive knowledge of practice, theory, and legislation to enhance practice, procedures, and policies, promoting innovation and introducing new ways of working.
  • Model effective assessment and management of risk in complex situations, including positive risk-taking situations.
  • Provide professional leadership on safeguarding issues in collaboration with senior team members.
  • Offer professional support, advice, and/or supervision to team members.
  • Monitor and support the performance management and development of team members using a coaching approach.
  • Manage complaints and verify assessments and authorisations as required.
  • Contribute to and provide professional leadership of organisational change and development.
  • Ensure adherence to data quality legislation and manage delegated budgets, funding, and resources as needed.

Requirements include a Social Work Qualification or equivalent, continual professional development, and registration with Social Work England.
