Support Teacher for Students with Special Needs

At Teaching Personnel, we are committed to finding talented individuals like you to join our team. As a Support Teacher for Students with Special Needs, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with SEN, helping them to reach their full potential.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple responsibilities. A strong understanding of SEN policies and procedures is also essential.
Salary Details:
We offer a competitive salary of £18,000 - £22,000 per annum, depending on experience. This role is full-time, Monday to Friday, with opportunities for professional development and growth within the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support pupils with SEN in the classroom
- Develop and implement individual education plans
- Prioritise tasks and manage multiple responsibilities
- Assist with classroom management and behaviour support
Requirements:
- GCSEs in English and Maths
- Experience working with children with SEN
- Understanding of SEN strategies and interventions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred:
- Level 3 Diploma in Specialist Support for Teaching and Learning
- First Aid certification
Working Conditions:
- Full-Time, Monday to Friday
- Primarily classroom-based, may involve outdoor activities
