Unit Manager

We are seeking an experienced Unit Manager to join our team at Chartwells Schools. As a Unit Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our catering and service teams, ensuring that we deliver exceptional food and customer service to our students and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage a team of catering and service staff to ensure seamless delivery of food and customer service.
- Oversee the efficiency of all in-unit operations, including inventory management, budget monitoring, and implementing action plans.
- Communicate regularly with your line manager to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and targets.
- Represent Chartwells Schools and maintain a positive brand image.
- Identify opportunities for new service concepts to drive sales and improve customer satisfaction.
- Liaise between customers and internal teams to ensure we exceed expectations.
- Support and train our teams, leading from the front to ensure everyone can excel in their role.
- Implement and review Health & Safety standards to ensure compliance across all catering and service teams.
Requirements:
- Minimum of two years of management experience within a similar sector or industry.
- Experience managing teams in a similar role.
- Brilliant financial acumen.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ambitious and motivated individual who is always looking to upskill.
