Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant Role

TLTP Education is seeking an experienced Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) to join our team in a popular three-form entry primary school in Dagenham, RM9. The successful candidate will work within a special provision for children with high-level needs, providing individualized support to students and enabling them to access the curriculum and reach their full potential.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience working with children with special educational needs, preferably in a similar setting. You should be able to demonstrate a passion for making a positive impact on the lives of students and be committed to providing excellent care and support.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one support to students with special educational needs
- Assist teachers in planning and delivering lessons to meet individual student needs
- Develop and maintain relationships with parents and carers to ensure effective communication and collaboration
Requirements
- 2+ years' experience working with children with special educational needs
- Strong knowledge of child development and learning theories
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
