Automotive Sales Director

We are currently recruiting for an experienced General Sales Manager to join our clients' main dealer site in the Ashford area. This is a fantastic opportunity for a sales professional to work with a strong brand, driving sales performance on a monthly basis and managing a team of sales executives.
About the Role
This position involves working closely with the senior management team, controlling used car stock and ensuring the right vehicles are available for the market area. The ideal candidate will have experience as a sales manager within the motor trade, with at least 2 years of experience in this role. They should have a good understanding of both new and used vehicle sales, ideally having experience running a large sales team. A full UK driving licence is essential.
Responsibilities
- Managing the Sales Executive team to achieve strong sales performance on a monthly basis
- Driving sales in the department through processes and training the team to work in a professional manner
- Ensuring the team offers strong customer service, maximising sales while promoting a strong profit per unit and working closely with the finance team to secure the best deal for the customer
What We Offer
A competitive salary of £45,000 + bonus OTE £65,000 makes this an attractive opportunity for a skilled sales professional.
