Prison Education Administrator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Prison Education Administrator to join our team at Dovetail and Slate Ltd. As a key member of our education department, you will provide administrative support to our education provision, ensuring the smooth operation of our daily activities.
Key Responsibilities:- Accurately input and analyze learner data on spreadsheets or databases, providing accurate and valid individualized learner record returns.
- Check and ensure that all paperwork and learner records are accurate and audit compliant for processing.
- Provide typing services, including memos, letters, reports, and other communications, as well as drafting replies to general enquiries and taking accurate minutes of meetings.
- Undertake general administrative duties, implementing office procedures and processes, including filing and organizing learner and staff records, ensuring confidentiality.
- Process and record all resource orders, sourcing appropriate suppliers for resources.
- Deal with telephone calls and visitors, answering general enquiries, liaising with key contacts in a positive and professional manner, providing information as requested, and acting as a crucial point of contact.
- Maintain and report staff absence and leave records.
- Experience in an administration or secretarial role.
- Experience with processing and data-entry.
- Highly competent with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Experience in a similar role in an education setting (desirable).
- Calm and patient demeanor.
We offer a competitive salary scale of £24,183 - £27,023, 30 days + bank holidays + up to 5 college closure days, and a supportive work environment.
