Podiatrist Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Podiatrist to provide specialized care in an outpatient clinic setting. As a Podiatrist, you will be responsible for managing diabetic foot wounds and advanced wound care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients with diabetic foot conditions to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Manage and treat diabetic foot wounds, utilizing advanced wound care techniques to promote healing and prevent complications.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in the bi-weekly diabetes foot multidisciplinary team to discuss and plan patient care strategies.
  • Provide education and support to patients regarding foot care and diabetes management to enhance their understanding and adherence to treatment.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with professional and organizational standards.
Requirements:
  • Must be a registered Podiatrist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Must hold a relevant degree in Podiatry.
  • Must have experience managing diabetic foot wounds and advanced wound care.
  • Experience working in a Tier 4 acute service is desirable.
  • Must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Must demonstrate a commitment to providing patient-centered care and improving patient outcomes.
