Job Title: Podiatrist Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Podiatrist to join our team at Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust. As a Podiatrist Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality podiatry care to patients with complex foot conditions, including diabetes-related foot care.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Assess and plan individual patient care, working independently and as part of a team
  • Deliver advanced diabetes foot care in line with NICE guidance and associated care planning and risk management
  • Undertake line management responsibilities, including recruitment, health roster, complaints investigations, and performance reviews
Requirements:
  • Registered with the HCPC
  • Degree or equivalent in Podiatry with a Local Anaesthesia certificate
  • Minimum 3 years working at a band 6 level
  • Domiciliary and care home experience
  • Previous NHS experience
Desirable:
  • Experience across community and acute settings
  • MDT working
  • Advanced debridement skills and wound care knowledge
