Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the timely, efficient, and courteous provision of the Diagnostic Imaging service. This includes communicating appointment details to patients, ensuring patients are appropriately prepared for imaging, and supporting radiographers and Radiologists in the performance of Diagnostic Imaging examinations.
- Communicating effectively with patients and their escorts prior to, during, and after an examination.
- Dealing with colleagues, patients, carers, and relatives in a helpful, reassuring, and friendly manner.
- Supporting radiographic, medical, and nursing staff in maintaining a safe, clean, and hygienic working environment.
- Ensuring patients are prepared for radiographic examinations and procedures according to defined protocols.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of GCSE/NVQ level 2 or equivalent education.
- Experience of working with various staff members.
- Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise with multidisciplinary teams.
