Procurement Specialist

As a key member of the myenergi team, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless supply of high-value components, maintaining inventory levels within company targets, and driving cost reduction initiatives with current and new suppliers.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver target BOM costs.
  2. Developing and implementing cost reduction strategies with the supply base.
  3. Monitoring and mitigating PPV (Purchase Price Variance).
  4. Fostering supplier development and engagement with existing and new suppliers.
  5. Creating documented sourcing strategies.
  6. Conducting regular supplier meetings and attending internal meetings across all levels of the business.
  7. Ensuring optimal material availability to maintain production readiness.
  8. Leading the creation and achievement of department KPIs (PPV, Supplier optimization, Cost reduction, Inventory days on hand, SOTDP, Supplier Contract management).

Requirements:

  1. 2+ years of experience in a similar role, seeking a new challenge.
  2. Experience in a manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
  3. Electronics buying experience is desirable but not essential.
  4. MCIPs are preferable.
  5. ERP knowledge and experience with ERP integration are highly desirable.
