Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at VANRATH. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding our customer base in the foodservice industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Exceed agreed sales targets and stretch budget and margin targets
- Develop the territory by managing a prospect list to secure new foodservice customers linked to the current commercial plan
- Expand the range that is currently being supplied
- Maintain all accounts within company credit terms, bringing on new accounts through new business generation
- Monitor competitor activity
- Complete all administration such as achievement reporting, weekly sales reporting, record cards and gains and losses report
- Customer margin targets in line with overall territory targets
Requirements:
- 2+ years field sales experience
- Proven experience of growing sales and achieving targets within the Food/FMCG industry ideal (Retail / hospitality / foodservice preferred)
- Competent in MS Office to include excel and word
