About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Occupational Health team at DP World as a Health and Wellbeing Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert health surveillance and medical assessments to ensure a safe working environment for employees.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in occupational health, with experience in conducting health surveillance, safety critical medicals, and case management. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, managers, and HR Business Partners.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Provide specialist advice to staff and line managers on health-related matters, including absence and sickness management.
  • Collaborate with other departments to promote a healthy and wellbeing-focused culture within the organization.
  • Conduct health surveillance and medical assessments for employees, including audiometry, spirometry, HAVS testing, and safety critical medicals.

Requirements:

  • RGN (Registered General Nurse) qualification with NMC registration.
  • Minimum 3 years post-registration experience, preferably in an occupational health setting.
  • Demonstrable experience of conducting health surveillance and safety critical medicals, as well as experience of IT systems, including email, Word, Excel, etc.
  • Up-to-date awareness and understanding of HSE legislation, SEQOHS, and all governance aspects, with a specific emphasis on work, health, and wellbeing issues.
  • NMC Level 1 Registration.
