About the Role

The IT Technician is a new role reporting into the IT Manager and will be based on site, providing 1st and 2nd level IT support for staff and liaising with our 3rd party IT service providers. The role will assist in bringing more IT support in house, handle 1st and 2nd line issues, and support with delivering IT projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide onsite IT support for staff.
  • Build, roll out, and replace PCs and hardware/software.
  • Set up and manage mobile devices and tablets.
  • Liaise with 3rd party IT service providers to ensure smooth business operations.
  • Maintain on-premise and cloud-based Active Directory.
  • Manage user accounts, including new user creation, and processing leavers and movers.
  • Maintain an updated asset inventory, including PCs, phones, PDQs, and printers.
  • Continuously improve IT documentation and policies.
  • Assist Operations with daily IT issues as needed.
  • Support and implement new IT projects.
About You

We are looking for an IT Technician with 2+ years of experience in 1st and 2nd line IT support. You should have good knowledge of Windows PCs, PC builds, mobile phones, and MS Office suite. Familiarity with Active Directory, MFA, Azure AD/365, Intune, and basic network awareness and troubleshooting skills are also required. ITIL certification is advantageous.
