About You

You will join our team as an Engineering Manager, reporting directly to the Director of Engineering. Our fast-growing business challenges the market and fosters innovation.

This role entails driving hiring and interviewing processes, mentoring direct reports, and collaborating with product partners to prioritize and scope work. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading multiple engineering teams on various projects
  • Driving hiring and interviewing processes to find top talent
  • Mentoring and guiding direct reports in career development by providing challenging, impactful work
  • Collaborating with product partners to ensure aligned priorities and work scopes
  • Ensuring quality and testing standards are met
  • Improving the team's security posture
  • Fostering a culture of clear communication and active listening
  • Facilitating daily standups, sprint planning meetings, and retrospective reviews
  • Managing 24/7 support and rapid issue reaction when necessary

We are looking for someone who can effectively communicate team strategy, generate enthusiasm, and support strategic goals. Required skills include:

  • Strong technical expertise in C#, Azure, and SQL
  • Proven track record of leading and managing engineering teams
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Strong understanding of business value and customer benefit
  • Able to articulate customer benefit and understand underlying problems
  • Demonstrate ownership and accountability for team performance
  • Manage ambiguity and uncertainty within the team
  • Promote a culture of documentation and knowledge sharing
  • Facilitate discussions and guide teams towards conclusions and decisions
  • Advocate for process and policy improvements
