Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Residential Childcare Support Worker to join our team at CV-Library.

About the Role:

This position involves providing a caring and motivating environment that takes into account individual developmental needs and enables young people to reach their full potential.

  • Planning and preparing activities that meet the young people's needs and stimulate their learning and integration within the home.
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of legislation, guidelines, policies to ensure compliance with the Children's Act, Children's homes regulations and national minimum standards.
  • Observing and assessing young people's progress and keeping accurate records of their achievements, behaviour and important events in their lives.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have previous experience of working with teenage boys or challenging behaviour and a willingness to further develop their skills.

A recognised qualification in Residential Childcare/Families Practitioner Diploma/Children and Young People's Workforce/NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent is required.
