Speech and Language Therapist Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Speech and Language Therapist to join our Community Health and Care services team in West Essex.

The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills and the ability to work effectively with children, families, and multi-disciplinary teams.

This role involves assessing and diagnosing speech and language disorders in children aged 0-19, developing and implementing individualised therapy plans, and collaborating with educational professionals to integrate therapy into the daily curriculum.

Key Responsibilities
  • To assess and diagnose speech and language disorders in children aged 0-19.
  • To develop and implement individualised therapy plans to address these disorders.
Salary Information

The salary for this role is £40,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience. This includes:

Requirements
  • HCPC registration in Speech and Language Therapy.
  • Registration with the Royal College of SLT.
  • Driving license and access to a vehicle.
