About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Category Manager to join our team at New Chapter Consulting Ltd. As a Category Manager, you will be responsible for driving the category function by analyzing data and interpreting market trends to provide insightful feedback.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective business plans to drive category growth and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the Commercial team to create and execute customer plans in line with Account Plans and Joint Business Plans.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Lead category activities such as store trials and consumer research to inform business decisions.
  • Communicate category initiatives and results to external customers and internal stakeholders.

About You:

  • Proven experience in category management, preferably in the UK retail industry.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to inform business decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work 2-3 days per week in the Hull area.
