Technical Delivery Lead - Platforms

As a key member of our Technology team, you will work closely with our digital product teams and third-party suppliers to ensure the successful delivery of technical solutions. You will act as the bridge between the business and technology, providing technical input and design guidance to support the development of plans that align with our technology roadmap.

You will be responsible for managing the technical delivery of key strategic initiatives, ensuring that our technical delivery function operates as efficiently as possible. This will involve implementing and supporting our agile development methodology, ensuring key ceremonies are conducted and that our processes continually improve.

You will also play a vital role in prioritising DevOps and automation in all aspects of technical delivery, using these tools to boost our efficiency and quality across all software developments and releases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the technical delivery of key strategic initiatives
  • Implement and support agile development methodology
  • Prioritise DevOps and automation in technical delivery
  • Ensure technical delivery function operates efficiently

What You'll Bring

You will have extensive experience managing the delivery of digital solutions and have successfully worked with third-party technology suppliers to achieve great results. You will have handled complex solutions with multiple teams and dependencies, and you will have managed both on-site and offshore third parties.

You will have experience managing delivery budgets and be skilled at using data to manage expectations, ensuring transparency with investments, and making sure there's clear value creation. You will know how to engage with stakeholders at all levels, from team members to senior management, and you will have developed strong stakeholder management skills.
