About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Learning Disability Nurse to join our team at Cygnet Hospital Wyke. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to individuals with mental illness and autism spectrum disorder (ASD).

Key Responsibilities
  • Produce comprehensive written reports based on nursing assessments and observations
  • Work closely with the management team to develop and improve the service
  • Attend training and engage in continuing professional development (CPD) to enhance knowledge and promote nursing excellence
  • Ensure individual care plans are complete and maintained in accordance with NMC guidelines
  • Administer medicines in accordance with healthcare procedures and guidelines

Requirements
  • Current Pin Number as a Registered Learning Disability Nurse
  • Ability to maintain documentation, undertake audits, and demonstrate integrity in your role
  • Good understanding of the latest nursing practices
  • Commitment to patient recovery and empowerment
