Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker to join our team as a Locum Social Work Practitioner. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality social work services to children and families in the Preston area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing a caseload of around 15-22 children and their families
  • Supporting care experienced young people and ensuring that their care plans are progressed and reviewed in a timely fashion
  • Acting as a strong advocate for the children on your caseload, ensuring that their holistic needs are met

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years plus experience of working within a similar social work setting
  • Diploma/Degree in Social Work
  • SWE registration
  • Evidence of working within a similar team and managing a complex caseload
