Protocol Education is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school in Loughton.Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and caring individual to support students with special educational needs in their learning and development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist students with special educational needs in their learning and development
  • Support the class teacher in planning and delivering tailored lessons
  • Provide one-to-one support to individuals and help create a supportive and inclusive learning environment
  • Assist with personal care and help students with their social and emotional well-being
Requirements:
  • A degree in Education, Psychology, or a related field
  • Previous experience working with individuals with special educational needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Desirable Qualities:
  • Understanding of special educational needs and inclusive education practices
  • Ability to provide effective support to students with diverse learning needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other professionals
Working Hours:

Full-time, Monday to Friday
