Credit Controller

We are seeking a skilled Credit Controller to join our finance team at Yolk Recruitment Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of client accounts to ensure timely and efficient collection of outstanding payments.
Key Responsibilities- Proactively contacting customers via phone and email to resolve overdue invoices.
- Investigating and resolving discrepancies or payment issues, ensuring disputes are followed up and resolved promptly.
- Monitoring credit limits and reviewing customer creditworthiness regularly, reporting any risks to the finance team.
- Preparing and sending out monthly statements and overdue reminders.
- Working closely with the finance team to reconcile accounts and maintain accurate records.
- Proven experience as a Credit Controller or in a similar role.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
- Familiarity with accounting software.
- Strong numerical and analytic skills.
- A proactive approach with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
