About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Key Account Manager - Genomics Specialist to join our UK & Nordics sales team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and share gain in assigned key accounts in the UK and Nordic region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Execute Sales Strategy: Develop and execute a sales strategy to drive growth and share gain in assigned key accounts.
  • Build Relationships and Stakeholder Management: Establish and maintain close working relationships with key cross-functional stakeholders, including Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations.
  • Negotiate Complex Deals: Negotiate complex deals that meet customer needs, while ensuring IDT profitability targets are achieved.
  • Genomics Application Expertise: Demonstrate and speak to the various genomics applications to top-tier customers, specifically qPCR, CRISPR, and/or NGS.
  • Account Growth Planning: Create and execute successful account growth plans within the life science industry.
Requirements
  • Proven Sales Background: A proven background in sales/business experience with an established track record of top performance.
  • Key Accounts Management Experience: Previous key accounts management experience with clear examples of winning deals and driving expansion at key accounts.
  • Education: Minimum a Master's degree in a Life Science-related discipline. MBA or PhD is a plus.
  • CRM Acumen: Strong CRM acumen. SFDC knowledge is preferred.
Travel and Physical Requirements
  • Travel: Up to 50% travel mostly in the UK and Nordic region.
  • Driver's License: Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
