Key Account Manager

Integrated DNA Technologies (IDT) is a leading manufacturer of custom oligonucleotides and proprietary technologies for genomics applications. We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Key Account Manager to join our UK & Nordics sales team. As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and share gain in assigned key accounts in the UK and Nordic region.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute strategies to promote and sell IDT's full portfolio of custom oligonucleotide solutions across key application areas such as Next Generation Sequencing, Molecular Diagnostics, Synthetic Biology, and qPCR.
- Perform sales analysis and build forecast models based on product type/application for assigned key accounts.
- Establish relationships and develop stakeholder strategies with decision makers and C-Suite level stakeholders to maximize IDT's value proposition.
- Negotiate complex deals that meet customer needs while ensuring IDT profitability targets are achieved.
- A proven background in sales/business experience with an established track record of top performance.
- Previous key accounts management experience with clear examples of winning deals and driving expansion at key accounts.
- Minimum a Master's degree in a Life Science-related discipline. MBA or PhD is a plus.
- Ability to demonstrate and speak to various genomics applications to top-tier customers, specifically qPCR, CRISPR, and/or NGS.
- Outstanding planning and organization skills with evidence of creation and execution of successful account growth plans within life science.
- Strong CRM acumen. SFDC knowledge is preferred.
- Up to 50% travel mostly in the UK and Nordic region.
