Charity Finance Role - St. Austell / Hybrid
We are seeking a highly experienced Finance Manager to join our client, a respected community charity in the region. This is a permanent opportunity with a flexible working arrangement and potential for hybrid working.
The successful candidate will oversee day-to-day accounting operations, produce management accounts for presentation to the board of trustees, and manage bank reconciliations, cashflow, and income monitoring.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the finance lead, overseeing day-to-day accounting operations.
- Produce management accounts for presentation to the board of trustees.
- Manage bank reconciliations, cashflow, and income monitoring.
- Prepare and submit HMRC returns.
- Manage monthly payroll operations, including employee pensions.
- Prepare annual balance sheets and statutory reports in line with Charities SORP.
- Liaise with external auditors and stakeholders.
About You: We're looking for a commercially astute Finance Manager with relevant technical and career experience. Previous experience gained in a charity accounting environment would be advantageous, but we also welcome applications from those with exposure in the private sector.
Salary: £35,000 per annum (circa).
