About the Role

Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking an experienced Orthoptist to join our dynamic department. As an Orthoptist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients with eye movement disorders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work within our paediatric and adult ocular motility clinics, providing expert care to patients with a range of eye movement conditions.
  • Undertake general orthoptic work, including assessments and treatments.
  • Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical guidelines and protocols.

Requirements

  • Hold a degree or diploma in Orthoptics and be registered with the HCPC.
  • Have previous clinical experience, although new graduates are also encouraged to apply.
  • Be highly motivated, flexible, and have excellent communication skills.
  • Hold a current driving license and have access to a car.
