Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Orthoptist to join our dynamic department at Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality orthoptic care to patients in our paediatric and adult ocular motility clinics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing clinical orthoptic services to patients in our paediatric and adult ocular motility clinics
  • Working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care
  • Developing and implementing treatment plans to meet the needs of patients with eye movement disorders
  • Conducting assessments and providing recommendations for patients with eye movement problems
  • Participating in the development and implementation of clinical guidelines and protocols
Requirements
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
  • Experience working in a clinical orthoptic setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment
