Strategic Director of Housing Assets

We are seeking an experienced professional to assist a Local Authority in Westminster with the appointment of an Interim Director of Housing Standards, Assets & Investment. The successful candidate will provide strategic advice on housing asset management, procurement, and investment opportunities, as well as lead the delivery of service transformation and improvement projects aligned with the Council’s objectives.

Key responsibilities include ensuring high standards of customer satisfaction and service delivery in asset management, driving innovation and continuous improvement, and ensuring compliance with relevant legal and regulatory housing standards, particularly in building safety.

Required qualifications include a strong background in asset management, in-depth knowledge of compliance and building safety regulations, and experience in managing construction, including the successful delivery of major works.

Please note that candidates should have the right to work in the UK and be available to work immediately or at short notice.
