Key Responsibilities- Strategic Leadership: Act as the Council's strategic advisor on all aspects of housing asset management, ensuring the delivery of efficient and effective services.
- Quality and Compliance: Ensure the Council achieves high standards in all areas of asset management services, highlighting continuous improvement, value for money, and effective program management.
- Innovation and Improvement: Lead the development, delivery, and embedding of our improvement program, driving innovation and quality improvement in the work.
- Regulatory Compliance: Advise senior members of staff on all aspects of the services and ensure the service is compliant with extant legal and regulatory requirements relating to the Council's housing management service.
This role requires a professional property and housing background, with demonstrable knowledge in asset management, compliancy, and building safety. Previous experience within a similar role in a local authority is essential.
The successful candidate will be responsible for reshaping and improving the service and investment around new regulatory requirements for building safety, ensuring effective integration of related services within and across the Directorate and the Council.
