Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Account Executive/Director to join our successful regional team based in Clevedon, North Somerset. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and developing a portfolio of commercial insurance clients, providing expert advice and guidance to ensure their insurance needs are met.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial insurance, with experience in broking large and technical risks across various business lines. You will be a proactive and self-motivated individual with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues alike.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet and deliver against agreed Renewal Retention and/or New Business targets, contributing to the team's overall budget objectives and KPIs
  • Complete all roles and tasks as required, ensuring adherence to Higos procedures and policies at all times
  • Develop and maintain a customer-led culture, delivering sales and customer standards, discipline, activities, and best practice
  • Client visits, presentations to insurers, obtaining and submitting best-in-market quotations for new business or renewals
  • Comply and manage team credit control, ensuring all monies are collected and allocated appropriately
  • Manage and prioritize diaries/tasks, keeping them up to date
  • Audit staff 1 per month and provide feedback, conducting Annual and Mid-Year reviews with team members
  • Manage staffing levels, including recruitment
  • Complete necessary training and actions set in line with your plan
