Job Title: Behaviour Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behaviour Teaching Assistant to join our team at a specialist SEMH Primary school in Norfolk.

The Role

As a Behaviour Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs on a 1 to 1 and small group basis. You will work closely with the teaching staff to develop and implement strategies to improve pupil behaviour and well-being.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing individualised support to pupils with SEMH needs
  • Assisting with lesson planning and delivery
  • Developing and maintaining positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents
  • Contributing to the development of a safe and supportive learning environment
The School

Our school is a specialist PRU that provides a nurturing and supportive environment for primary-aged children with SEMH needs.
