Senior Vice President, UK Accounting and Statutory Reporting Specialist

BNY Mellon is seeking a highly skilled Senior Vice President to join our UK Accounting Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the statutory accounting process for our 30+ UK banking and asset management entities.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure tight governance over accounting interpretations
- Work with the Technical Accounting Group on complex accounting issues and deliver accounting and financial reporting training to the Controllers and finance Centre of Excellence teams
- Consistent high-quality financial statements that meet stakeholders' expectations
- Implementation of new accounting standards
- Financial services experience preferred
- Proven track record in translating accounting theory into practical application
- Project management and outsourcing experiences desirable
