Senior Vice President, UK Accounting and Statutory Reporting Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Vice President to lead our UK Accounting and Statutory Reporting team. This role is located in Manchester, UK – Hybrid.
About the RoleThis is an ideal opportunity for a qualified accountant with audit experience, particularly those looking to move out of practice. The UK LEC team has adopted a centralized approach to statutory accounting, and this role will manage the process for each of BNY's 30+ UK banking and asset management entities.
Key Responsibilities- Drive efficiency, standardization, and a robust audit process for statutory accounts.
- Act as a contact point between key stakeholders, including the LEC team, Tax team, Technical Accounting Group, and external auditors.
- Work with the Technical Accounting Group on complex accounting issues and deliver accounting and financial reporting training to Controllers and finance Centre of Excellence teams.
- Ensure tight governance over accounting interpretations.
- Implement new accounting standards.
- Financial services experience preferred.
- Proven track record in translating accounting theory into practical application.
- Project management and outsourcing experiences would be desirable.
