Senior Vice President, UK Accounting and Statutory Reporting Specialist

At BNY Mellon, we're seeking a highly skilled Senior Vice President to lead our UK Accounting and Statutory Reporting team. As a key member of our Accounting Team, you'll be responsible for managing the statutory accounting process for our 30+ UK banking and asset management entities.
Key Responsibilities:- Drive efficiency and standardization in statutory accounting processes
- Collaborate with the Technical Accounting Group on complex accounting issues
- Develop and deliver accounting and financial reporting training to Controllers and finance teams
- Implement new accounting standards and ensure compliance
- Qualified accountant with significant post-qualification experience
- Financial services experience preferred
- In-depth knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP
- Proven track record in translating accounting theory into practical application
- Project management and outsourcing experience desirable
