About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Childcare Worker to join our team at CareTech Group. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to young people in our residential care settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized care and support to young people, promoting their physical, emotional, and psychological well-being.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with young people, their families, and other professionals.
  • Contribute to the creation and implementation of personalized care plans, ensuring the needs and goals of each young person are met.
  • Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the development of care strategies and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with other professionals, such as therapists and educators, to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to care.

Requirements:

  • A full UK driver's license.
  • A willingness to commit to qualifications recognized by the SSSC.
  • Working in line with the National Care Standards and SSSC Codes of Practice.
  • To safeguard young people and report all child care concerns.
  • Proficient IT skills and experience in using Microsoft packages.
