About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Childcare Worker to join our team at CareTech Group. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to vulnerable young people in our care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a safe and nurturing environment for young people, promoting their physical, emotional, and psychological well-being.
  • Develop and maintain trusting relationships with young people, their families, and other professionals.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and support.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of individual care plans, ensuring the needs of each young person are met.
  • Contribute to the creation of a positive and inclusive environment, promoting the rights and dignity of all young people.

Requirements:

  • A full UK driver's license.
  • A willingness to commit to qualifications recognized by the SSSC.
  • Working in line with the National Care Standards and SSSC Codes of Practice.
  • To safeguard young people and report all child care concerns.
  • Proficient IT skills and experience in using Microsoft packages.
