Bid Strategy Manager

We are seeking an experienced Bid Strategy Manager to support the Bids and Proposals Lead in managing day-to-day activities to achieve our department's time, cost, and quality objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in ensuring the smooth operation of the team and oversee project execution teams within the product line to craft compelling customer proposals.
  • Collaborate with the capture team to establish a winning strategy before the formal release of Bid requirements, utilising best practice business capture processes, techniques, and methodologies.
  • Take ownership of specific bids, campaigns, and related tasks, ensuring delivery within budget.
  • Develop and articulate a comprehensive bid plan that outlines how the strategies and tactics formulated during the capture phase will be implemented in the bid, managing its timely delivery in accordance with established bid processes and procedures.
  • Plan, manage, and lead the entire bid team's activities from the initial stages through solution development, costing/pricing, proposal preparation, submission, and contract negotiation, resulting in the successful contract award and handover to the Project execution team.

Requirements:

  • A demonstrated track record in Bid Management, with solid knowledge of capture, commercial and financial skills.
  • Proven ability to take ownership, remain goal-oriented, and exhibit strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Exceptional at cultivating stakeholder relationships and a confident presenter.
